Getting that first Barbie wrapped in a pink box is a right of passage. I can remember my first Barbie all too well. She had hair all the way down to her toes, and I dressed her in black bicycling shorts with a green and pink shirt. So much to say for my fashion sense at nine-years-old but Barbie had so many clothes that it was hard to put one outfit with another.
It's amazing how certain things can grow on you. In most cases, it's a wonderful experience. I'm talking mostly about the act of listening to a record that, at first listen, can completely annoy the hell out of you, only to later become a favorite. That's a big habit of mine, which makes the act of reviewing a new record difficult because by time I really "feel" the music, it's old.
Trigger Man isn't really a horror movie so much as a film about people walking without saying anything. There are many scenes in this movie in which people walk without saying a word. The plot focuses on three city-dwelling friends who go on a hunting trip, and for the first ten minutes or so, nobody says a damn thing.
