ASU Campus Health Center Proposed by SGA

Students with a case of the sniffles may soon be able to find a remedy for their ills on campus. The Student Government Association (SGA) is working on a resolution that will approve a health clinic to open shop on campus. The project is in the planning stages, but those involved said that not only is a health clinic "conceivable," but it could open within the next 2 years.

The Augusta Yellow Bike Project is a community bike shop where people can come in and repair their own bikes or work on the bikes that have been donated to the project, regardless of experience.

A fear of math and the resulting dislike of the discipline as a whole is now being recognized as something more serious. To label math anxiety as "an ordinary fear of math" may not be altogether accurate. According to Nickie Reich, a math lecturer at Augusta State University, math anxiety is serious.
