BR: Well, what's the magic combination of players?

Gregory: Henrik Norlander is a sophomore from Sweden. I've got Janne Kaske, a senior from Finland. Jake Amos, is a junior from England. Those three have played all year, and then at the last few events, (there is) Taylor Floyd, a freshman from Macon, then Carter Newman, a sophomore (sociology major) from Augusta. They've been in and out of the lineup all year. We've just never played this exact same five lineup for a few events in a row, and thats's been my goal, which is to figure out in the first two-thirds of the year who your best five are and stick with your lineup and go with it the rest of the way. We've found that, and it seems it's working. They get along well, the chemistry is good, they're playing well and obviously confidence can breed success. They're definitely an all-time high in confidence right now.

BR: What are you thinking while going into the last season tournament of the year?

Gregory: This will be a nice little tune-up before we go to NCAA regionals. We'll find out when we get to regionals, so this is a nice little tune-up heading into post-season, gives us an opportunity to play, an opportunity to compete, and just see where our games are heading into post-season.

BR: What's your goal, Coach? What's your mindset at this point?

Gregory: I think we'll just keep preaching the same thing we're doing and that's practicing, and preparing as individuals, playing as individuals. You know, we've never won three tournaments in a row; we won four in a row my first year here, two in the fall and two in the spring. But I think that our goal here is to validate what we've done in the past two events and go in there and try to win three in a row before we go into the NCAA event. And I think that's pretty much the (players') mindset. Hey, we know we can win. We've beaten some great programs, so let's keep it going and see what happens and try to really set ourselves apart and give ourselves even more confidence going into regionals. So no matter how you do during the year, the season boils down to two events. Everything we're doing now is to prepare for that time.
